Discard inferior or defective products or foreign matter and place acceptable products in containers for further processing. Guide products to regulate flow through machines and discard diseased or rotten products. Monitor and report grain grades. Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and the team. Load semi-trucks with hopper-bottom trailers without over- or underfilling trailers; drive and deliver grain to market using semi-trucks. Assist in the management and preservation of wildlife habitat on the farm during the migration of waterfowl and deer, including maintaining wire, removing debris, servicing wetlands, controlling weed pressure, inspecting and recording wildlife populations, and maintaining adequate water levels in ponds and areas enrolled in the Wetland Reserve Program. Perform manual labor necessary to develop, maintain, or protect areas such as forested areas, woodlands, and wetlands. Must be able to speak and understand English.
